What it means
USCIS has logged receipt of your RFE response and the case is back in the adjudication queue. The status confirms delivery only; it does not mean an officer has accepted the evidence you supplied.
When it usually appears
Within a few days to two weeks of your package being signed for and logged.
How long it usually lasts
Re-adjudication varies by form and office and commonly takes weeks to months. Premium-processed cases normally restart their clock when the response is received.
Suggested next steps
Keep your delivery receipt and a complete copy of everything you sent. If the status has not updated within about two weeks, contact USCIS with the delivery record. Do not mail the same evidence again, since duplicate packages can confuse the file.

Can USCIS issue a second RFE?
It happens, but it is not common. If the record is still insufficient, USCIS may instead issue a NOID or decide the case.
Why is there no decision after the response was received?
Responded cases re-enter the normal queue rather than jumping ahead of other filings, so long quiet periods after a response are typical and are not by themselves a sign that anything is wrong.
Should I send anything else while I wait?
Only if circumstances genuinely change, such as a new address, a new job, or a document that expired. Unsolicited duplicate evidence adds no value and can slow the file down.
