Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
What it means
USCIS has recorded that your biometrics were captured. The status appears once the Application Support Center reports the collection back into the system, after which fingerprints are sent for FBI and other background checks. Capture being complete lets the case move on, though the background check itself may still take time.

Within a few days of attending your appointment at the Application Support Center named on the I-797C notice.

The status itself is a one-time record. Background check results usually return within weeks, occasionally longer.
